デビュー25周年を記念して作られた4枚組Boxで、ヤードバーズからソロに至るまでのキャリアを総括した決定版。シングルバージョンや未発表曲、未発表バージョンも多数収録し、今なお本作でしか聴けない音源は多い(特にソロは)。個人的にはドミノス時代の音源に注目。『Tell The Truth』シングルバージョンは、アルバムと大きくアレンジが違うばかりか、クラプトン自身のキャリアを通しても非常に珍しいアップテンポな仕上がり。Disc 3のあたま5曲は、制作途中でバンドが決裂したため幻となってしまった、セカンドアルバム用の曲だ。

"live in the seventies"の副題がついた4枚組Box。Disc 1こそ『EC Was Here』の音源とダブっているものの、他はほとんどが未発表だ。そのDisc 1は未発表曲『Walkin' Down The Road』で幕を開ける、74年のライヴ。Disc 2は75年で、24分にも渡る大作『Eyesight To 〜』でクラプトンと共にギターを弾いているのは、このときのツアーでオープニングを務めたカルロス･サンタナだ。Disc 3は77年と78年のライヴ。Disc 4はまるまる78年の音源で、『To Make Somebody Happy』からラストまでの3曲はスタジオレコーディングとなっている。
