コロンビア時代の音源を集約した3枚組Box Setだが、約半数の25曲が未発表音源という、マニア向けのアイテムだ。冒頭『When I Needed You』はスティーヴンが60'sに在籍していたチェーン･リアクション時代の曲。エリック･クラプトンもカヴァーした『All Your Love』やビートルズの『Helter Skelter』など、カヴァー曲も興味深い。Disc 3には、メンバーの意向によりノークレジットだが、20曲目として『Circle Jerk』が収録。全曲にメンバーのコメントが付与されたブックレットにも注目。 |
