4枚のオリジナルアルバムの全曲を収録し、かつ後年発表された未発表曲集『VU』『Another View』からもチョイス。もちろん未発表テイク満載のヴェルヴェッツのキャリアを総括した5枚組Box Set。 装丁には例のバナナが採用。オリジナルのファーストアルバムは、LPではバナナの皮が剥けて実が見えるようになっていたのだが、CDでは薄っぺらい紙に留まっていた。それが今回晴れて再現。タイトルの意は"ゆっくりめくって、そして見ろ"。見て感じて欲しいのは、このBoxに凝縮された稀代のバンドの音楽と、そのメンバーの生きざまである。 |
